Psalm 125:1
The Unshakable Trust in the LORD (Verses 1–2)
A majestic, towering Mount Zion bathed in radiant light, its rocky foundation unyielding amid storms. Surrounding it, a ring of rugged mountains encircles a luminous city, symbolizing divine protection. The sky above is vast and eternal, suggesting God’s everlasting presence guarding His people.
Divine Justice and the Separation of the Righteous from the Wicked (Verse 3)
A strong, upright rod held firmly by a just hand, standing between two paths: one bright and straight, the other dark and twisted. The rod prevents shadowy figures representing wickedness from crossing into the bright path where the righteous walk, illustrating divine boundary and protection.
Prayer for Goodness and Peace (Verses 4–5)
A serene landscape where a gentle light falls upon a community gathered in harmony. Upright trees grow tall, their roots deep in fertile soil. In the distance, those who have turned aside walk away into shadows, while a peaceful glow envelops the city of Israel, symbolizing divine blessing and peace.
Psalms 125 Song
Like Mount Zion standing firm and sure, Those who trust in You endure. Unmoved by storms, unshaken by fear, Your presence circles, ever near.
The rod of wickedness shall not prevail, Against the righteous, it will fail. Keep our hearts upright and true, Lead us in the paths of You.
O Lord, our refuge, our mighty shield, In Your strength, we never yield. Surround us with Your steadfast love, Guard us with Your hand above.
For those who stray, the way is dark, Led away with those who mark The crooked path, the shadowed road, But peace shall rest upon Your fold.
O Lord, our refuge, our mighty shield, In Your strength, we never yield. Surround us with Your steadfast love, Guard us with Your hand above.
